Representatives from Russia, Ukraine, and the United States will meet on November 10.
Trilateral talks between Russia, the U.S., and Ukraine will take place on November 10 and 11 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. This was announced by U.S. President’s Special Envoy Steve Whitcoff. “The discussions will focus on post-war agreements on security, de-escalation, humanitarian measures, and the next steps toward peace,” he wrote on the social media platform X.
Prior to that, according to Whitcoff, U.S. negotiators will hold working meetings in Brussels with representatives from France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the EU, and NATO. The parties will discuss security guarantees for Ukraine, economic support for the country’s post-war reconstruction, and the security architecture in Europe after the war ends. “We hope to build on the progress made in Kyiv, Oslo, and St. Petersburg toward a comprehensive and lasting peace agreement that will ensure long-term security for future generations,” the special envoy concluded.
Shortly before that, a Reuters source reported that the trilateral summit would take place on November 10–11. According to the source, the U.S. will be represented at the talks by Whitcoff and the son-in-law of the American leader Jared Kushner. Discussions on resuming trilateral talks intensified in the second half of October following contacts between Moscow, Kyiv, and the U.S. administration.
