It will take place in the second half of November.

Germany, together with France and the United Kingdom, will host the next meeting of the “coalition of the willing” on Ukraine at the level of heads of state and government in Berlin in the second half of November, said German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at a joint press conference with Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Berlin, according to ZDFheute.

“It is time to end this war,” Merz said.

According to the Tagesspiegel, the summit is scheduled for November 19. According to the chancellor, a “large number” of heads of state and government will travel to the German capital. He noted that discussions will focus on coordinating aid to Kyiv, potential security guarantees following the end of the conflict, and aligning diplomatic efforts toward a resolution. The meeting is also expected to establish a unified position on peace negotiations and resolve issues related to arms deliveries.

The “coalition of the willing” is an alliance of more than 30 countries, mainly European, that are open to participating in a potential peacekeeping mission in Ukraine. France and the United Kingdom play a coordinating role within it. The formation of the coalition was announced in early March 2025 by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
