Netanyahu – 46.

The leader of the “Yashar!” party , Gadi Eisenkot , announced his intention to form a small emergency government in Israel as soon as possible. According to him, 67 Knesset members supported the initiative. Eisenkot plans to begin forming the cabinet immediately after receiving a mandate from the country’s president Yitzhak Herzog, according to “Israel News”.

Eisenkot proposed first swearing in a cabinet composed of four “Zionist parties of change and reform,” and then expanding the coalition to include other political forces and lawmakers willing to adopt the principles he proposed. He cited mandatory military or civilian service for all citizens as one of the key conditions.
According to the politician, the results of consultations with the President of Israel indicate that an absolute majority of parliamentarians support the changes. Eisenkot claims that 67 lawmakers spoke in favor of his appointment, while only 46 supported the continuation of the current prime minister’s Benjamin Netanyahu term.

Eisenkot called for a swift change of government to prevent new elections and help the country emerge from its political crisis. He also reported significant progress in negotiations with potential coalition partners, emphasizing that most of the agreements remain confidential for now.
