The Russians fired missiles.

On the night of Saturday, November 7, the Russians launched several missile strikes on the North Bridge in Kyiv. This was reported by the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko, according to UNIAN.

According to him, the enemy attack damaged the road surface, the trolleybus overhead wire, and a power line. In addition, the mayor said, the blast wave damaged five trucks in the parking lot.

“Road crews are currently working on the bridge to repair the damage, and utility workers are on the scene,” he noted.

Traffic on the Northern Bridge is temporarily blocked in both directions.

According to the Kyiv City State Administration, buses that previously traveled across the Northern Bridge are being rerouted via the Podil Bridge. Public transportation is temporarily operating as follows:

Nos. 21, 73, 101 – to the “Kontraktova Ploshcha” metro station;

No. 29-TR – from Darnitska Square to the “Kontraktova Ploshcha” metro station;
No. 30-TR – on two sections: Miloslavska St. – “Pochaina” Metro Station (via Novokonstantinovska St.); Kadetsky Hai St. – “Pochaina” Metro Station;

No. 31-TR – from Miloslavska Street to the “Lukyanivska” metro station via Hlybochytska Street (following the route of bus No. 112);
No. 47-TR – from “Minskaya” Metro Station to “Pochayna” Metro Station.

It is noted that further work on restoring the bridge will be determined based on the results of inspections and relevant expert opinions from specialized agencies, as well as taking into account the security situation.

This is not the first time the Russians have struck this bridge in Kyiv. The enemy launched a previous attack in early October. At that time, the road surface was seriously damaged.
