The WSU has implemented the first phase of successful reform.
The creation of the corps system in the Ukrainian Armed Forces has become one of the factors behind the growing losses of Russian troops. Now the second stage of the corps reform is going on in the army.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.
The second stage of the reform
According to him, the second stage of corps reform is now underway, under which brigades are being redeployed to their respective corps so that their directorates command their own units.
The corps set of troops is also being built up and units, primarily unmanned forces, are being scaled up.
In some corps, battalions of unmanned systems are being reorganized into regiments, and the formation of artillery brigades has been completed within corps.
The reform also includes strengthening the technological component, in particular the use of unmanned ground systems for logistics and evacuation of the wounded, which reduces the burden on personnel and reduces casualties.
Improving the manageability of troops
In the framework of corps formation, more than 36,000 servicemen have already been relocated to become the basis of the corps set's management bodies and units. The transition to the corps system, according to Syrsky, has relieved the management system and significantly improved the manageability of troops, which increases the efficiency of planning and execution of combat missions.
