Kasparov: Putin Will Soon Have To Make Unpleasant Decisions

The fracture has already occurred.

Another episode of attempted assassination in Russia, even if unsuccessful, has stirred up the elites, Garry Kasparov reported. Those who have big money have long been tired of the war, as it involves inconvenience and financial losses for them, so the discontent of those in power in Russia is growing.

The politician said this in his interview for Channel 24 on YouTube.

The Russian oppositionist described the situation inside Russia, which is gradually heating up: "I would say that a fracture has already occurred. Now the moment is so very difficult, because if you follow the trends on the Russian Internet, of course, for the first time there is discomfort. It is related to the fact that the endless war is something that for the elites, for those who have gotten rich, including through war, it is not very acceptable, because the situation is getting worse. It is slowly deteriorating, that is, the process of "tightening the sanctions noose" is going on slowly, but it is becoming more and more difficult.

"The lack of any prospect for people who have huge financial resources and who, of course, would like to be able to comfortably place these resources in the West and spend them there, the lack of this prospect is straining. Now we see a certain crisis situation, and Moscow's nervousness and Trump's pressure, and failures on the front, and the Starlink shutdown are related to this, that is, we have entered a period when it is not excluded that Putin will have to make some unpleasant decisions. In my opinion, if he is forced to decide which way to go, it will always be an escalation," Kasparov suggested.
