Russian Drones Are Increasingly Flying Into Belarus

  • 11.02.2026, 11:41

Since the beginning of February, at least three arrivals have already been recorded.

There are no mass flights of Russian drones in Homel region, as it was earlier during attacks on the territory of Ukraine, but such cases have become more frequent. This conclusion was made by "Flagstaff" after analyzing Ukrainian monitoring channels.

At least three flights have already been recorded since the beginning of February. The latest case occurred on the morning of February 7, when the channel "Rynda monitors" reported at 06:49 that one drone flew into the Gomel region via Chernobyl. Then, at 07:13 it was reported that a UAV was flying a course to Chernobyl from Belarus. It was probably the same drone.

The day before, on February 6, the same channel informed at 03:01 that a Russian UAV was heading towards Ovruch from Belarus. There was no information about the place and time of the drone's flight to Belarus.

Before that, in the afternoon of February 5, a pair of drones flew into Belarus to head to Kiev or Zhitomir along the border, the channel "eRadar" suggested at 12:07. Nothing is known about their further fate.

Thereby, at least three flights occurred in the first seven days of February, while eight such cases were recorded in January. While earlier, in December 2025, there was not a single confirmed fact of crossing the Belarusian border, and in November there were four incursions.

The resumption of more active use of the Belarusian territory by Russian UAVs came as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the neutralization of part of the antennas in the border area of Belarus, which supported Russian attacks:

"All the time Russia has been building various kinds of air corridors, which were used by the Russians during attacks on our energy sector. First of all, these are attack drones. This is technical support, technical equipment on antennas on the territory of Belarus, which helped the drones. Ukraine has been dealing with this issue and has found what to do with some antennas to reduce the scale of attacks against us."

Also, flights into Belarus have become more frequent amid the loss of access to Starlink by the Russian military.
