Residents are encouraged to complain about their government through a "secure channel".
A video in Lithuanian has appeared on the Internet, where Lithuanian residents are offered to talk about the problems of their government with the Belarusian State Security Committee (KGB). The Lithuanian Department of State Security (DGB) calls not to give in to provocations.
"A YouTube video authored by the Belarusan KGB is circulating on social networks. The Lithuanian-language recording speaks, among other things, of problems "caused by government injustice." "Those who want to talk about it are invited to contact the KGB through the specified 'safe channel,'" reported the Lithuanian state security.
DGB urges not to give in to provocations. It noted that the special services of Russia and Belarus are actively using social networks, looking for potential agents, recruiting them and keeping in touch with them. If there are suspicions, the intelligence service recommends to contact the Lithuanian intelligence.
Lithuania is one of the priority targets for Belarusian intelligence, while Minsk coordinates its actions with Moscow, said the Lithuanian agency.
