NATO Believes That Russian Losses Are Higher Than The AFU General Staff Has Estimated

A shocking figure.
Russia has lost 1.3 million of its soldiers since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. We are talking about killed and wounded.
A senior NATO official said this at a briefing to a correspondent of "Deutsche Welle".
The North Atlantic Alliance official said that 400,000 Russian occupiers have been killed or wounded during 2025 alone.
"We are surprised by the proportion of dead in Russian losses. The Russians suffer disproportionately high losses, they suffer extremely heavy losses," he pointed out.
He said that such a high level of irrecoverable losses in Russia is due to the low level of medical care on the battlefield.
It should be noted that, as the AFU General Staff reported today, February 11, the total losses of personnel of the Russian army exceeded 1.24 million people, of which 820 military personnel were eliminated over the past 24 hours.
