The Ramstein-33 was held at NATO headquarters in Brussels on Feb. 11-12, and the meeting was the most successful yet as Ukraine was allocated a record $38 billion worth of weapons, Fedorov said in a note in Telegram feed. The partners will provide funds for the production of Ukrainian drones and other types of military equipment, the purchase of shells, artillery and other means of defeat. Among other things, they promised to finance the purchase of weapons in the United States under the PURL program: we are talking about missiles for Patriot SAMs.
Mikhailov wrote that there will be an urgent provision of missiles for Patriot, which will be organized by Ukraine's partners. In addition, there will be money to upgrade the air defense system. The minister's note lists 17 countries that have joined the initiative to help Ukraine - Britain, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Canada, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Australia, Portugal, Turkey and Slovenia. The money will go under different programs - PURL (purchase from the US), "Danish model" (financing Ukrainian arms production), NSATU trust fund (NATO program for training fighters), SAFE (EU defense program).
