New Tariffs For Communal Services Were Introduced In Minsk And Three Regions

Where will it be more expensive?
Minsk City Executive Committee, as well as the authorities of Brest, Homiel and Hrodna voblasts officially set new tariffs for housing and communal services. Belarusians will see the fresh prices in the vouchers in spring - the decisions come into force on March 1. The documents published on the National Legal Internet Portal.
Based on the published decisions, the cost of the same services will differ in different regions of the country. We have compared the prices for the main items in the vouchers (we are talking about state-subsidized tariffs).
Minsk
In the capital, the decision of Minsk City Executive Committee № 299 sets the following rates, which come into force on March 1:
Water supply: RUB 2.0248 per one cubic meter;
Analization: RUB 1.1295 per one cubic meter;
Maintenance: RUB 0.2305 per one sq. m;
Technical maintenance: RUB 0.2305 per one sq. m. m;
Lift maintenance: RUR 0.1034 per one square meter;
Solid municipal waste management: in houses with a garbage chute - RUR 21.7526 per cubic meter, without it - RUR 19.3682.
Where water and sewerage are more expensive?
If we compare the capital with the regions, water supply will cost the residents of Gomel region the most. There, a cubic meter of water will cost 2.2927 rubles. In Brest voblast, the tariff will be Br2.2357, while in Hrodna voblast - Br2.0723. The water will cost the cheapest for Minsk residents - Br2.0248.
The situation with sewage is different. The highest tariff is set in Brest and Homel voblasts - Br1.9701 per cubic meter. In Grodno region the service costs 1.7952 rubles. And again the lowest tariff is fixed in Minsk - Br1.1295.
Elevators and garbage
Maintenance of the elevator will be paid most of all in Minsk and Brest voblast - Br0.1034 per sq. m. In Hrodna voblast the tariff is slightly lower - Br0.0999, while in Homel voblast - Br0.0982.
And garbage disposal will hit the pockets of Minsk residents the hardest. In houses without a garbage chute the tariff will amount to Br19.3682 per cubic meter. For comparison: in Brest voblast it's 18.8376 rubles, in Hrodna voblast - 18.7082 rubles, and in Homel voblast - 16.8589 rubles.
What's the same for all?
Tariffs for capital repair of residential buildings are set at the same level in all four regions. From March 1, deductions will amount to 0.2825 rubles per square meter of the total area.
Almost everywhere the tariff for common property management is the same - 0.0394 rubles per square meter (in the decisions of Brest and Grodno regional executive committees this figure is prescribed for residential buildings).
