The occupants' logistics in the Sumy direction were disrupted.
The guerrillas managed to disable an electric locomotive VL80 in the Orel region of Russia, thus disrupting the logistics of the enemy army in the Sumy direction.
Agents committed sabotage on the railway infrastructure of the Russians in Orel, setting fire to the electric locomotive. This was reported on the morning of February 15 in the Telegram channel of the guerrilla movement "ATESH".
The guerrillas managed to take out critical equipment of the mainline freight electric locomotive VL80 by means of arson. It is this type of electric locomotive that is considered the "workhorse" of the Russian railroad, the movement's agents claim.
The VL80 is a heavy hauler that is often used to transport multi-ton military echelons. Such tractors play a significant role in providing military logistics for the Russians on the battlefield, and their breakdowns create problems for the Russian Federation.
The particular electric locomotive that the movement's agents managed to "liquidate" was actively used by the Russians to transport equipment, ammunition and fuel from the Russian rear to border areas. The command used this VL80 in particular to reinforce the groups of enemy troops trying to break through the AFU defense line on the Sumy direction.
But thanks to the sabotage of guerrillas, this electric locomotive will not go anywhere else, the note says.
"The enemy's logistical supply chain has received another blow. While they are looking for a replacement tractor, shells and equipment will not reach the front in time," the ATESH agents claim.
