On the night of February 17, drones attacked a number of facilities in the Russian Federation. Among the targets was the Ilsk oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai, where after a series of explosions, according to eyewitnesses, a large-scale fire broke out, writes New Voice.
The operational headquarters of Krasnodar Krai confirmed the UAV attack, but did not detail which facilities were damaged.
With the air threat, Krasnodar, Sochi and Gelendzhik airports imposed temporary restrictions on the acceptance and release of flights; Russian media also reported on restrictions at a number of other airports.
Simultaneously, Russian publics wrote about explosions in Tatarstan - particularly in the vicinity of Kazan and in Nizhnekamsk - and temporary restrictions at local airports. There was no official confirmed data on the aftermath of the strikes in Tatarstan at the time of the reports.
