The Southern Branch Of The Friendship Line Has Been Idle For Almost A Month

It turned out that the RF itself was to blame.
The southern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline, which branches off from the main pipe near Mozyr and supplies Russian oil to Hungary, has been idle for almost a month.
It became known from a report that Croatia is ready to help Hungary and Slovakia with oil supplies through the Adria pipeline, writes "Flagpole".
Croatia responded to Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó and Economy Minister Denis Sakov, who asked for the transit of Russian oil through the Adria pipeline. At the same time, Sijjarto accused Ukraine of allegedly "refusing to resume oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline" for political reasons.
Ukraine has previously hit Druzhba facilities on Russian territory, but there have been no noticeable stoppages. The reason for stopping the pumping this time was, on the contrary, a strike by the Russian army. It happened on January 27, when Russian troops attacked an infrastructure facility in the town of Brody, Lviv region, which is connected to the Druzhba oil pipeline.
It is through Brody that the Mozyr-Brody-Uzhgorod oil pipeline runs. Through it, Russian oil is transported to Slovakia and Hungary. Before that, Russia did not attack the infrastructure associated with the Druzhba pipeline.
It is through the southern branch of Druzhba that the vast majority of oil supplies from Belarus to the EU go.
