Ukraine and Russia must end the war as soon as possible. There is no time to listen to the philosophizing of the aide of Russian dictator Vladimir Medinsky.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an interview with Axios.

The Ukrainian head of state expressed fears that the Russian delegation, led by Medinsky, would try to turn the peace talks into a formality or go back to square one to buy its soldiers time on the battlefield.

Zelensky pointed out that, like dictator Vladimir Putin, Medinsky likes to philosophize about the "historical roots" of the war.

"We don't have time for all this crap. We need to solve and end the war," he emphasized.
