Neither Lukashenko nor his diplomatic chief made it to Trump's "Peace Council" summit.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maksim Ryzhenkov did not get to the summit of the "Peace Council" in Washington, because the United States of America denied him a visa. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
Lukashenko's diplomats wrote a post accusing the Americans of actually denying the delegation entry into the U.S.
"What kind of peace and what consistency can we talk about, if even the basic formalities for our participation were not fulfilled by the organizers?", - the Foreign Ministry lamented.
Earlier, Lukashenko refused to fly to Washington. The head of his press service Natalya Eismont said that the dictator had "other things to do," and also pointed to the sanctions against her boss - Europe stopped air communication with Belarus because of the Belarusian ruler's air terrorism.
Today, February 19, Lukashenko instead of US President Donald Trump met with the President of the Senate of Zimbabwe Mabel Memorial Chinomona.
