Belarusians To Russians: Don't Move To Us
- 20.02.2026, 19:00
Loud discussion on social media.
A Russian woman asked Belarusians in Threads "how they are with the Internet and social networks" because she plans to move from Moscow to Minsk. The thread garnered about 900 comments - after that, the Russian woman blocked many of what she claimed were "nationalists."
The whole point is that most users asked the Russian woman not to move to Belarus, writes "Salidarnasts".
"Don't move to us in Belarus. Live at your place. Maybe later the troops will come to liberate you from us."
"Please don't take offense. They are not very nice to you, because nobody knows you. So far you are looked at as a faceless average Muscovite who is not interested in politics but madly loves her great motherland. We despise Z-swastikas, mock TV news, and consider the heroes of the "SWO" to be thugs. But if you are ready to change your Moscow worldview for the Belarusian one, you are welcome to do so.
"Where should we, Belarusians, go? Soon you will populate us so that there will be no more of us left."
"Laugh with laughter, but seriously - you will not fit all of you. And besides jokes, a bunch of retirees have already arrived. We need professions, look at the professions - laborers, etc.".
"Everything works great. But to use good Internet in Belarus, you have to enter two passwords: 1. Whose Crimea? 2. What do you think about Russia bombing Ukraine?".
"Nothing works for us, please don't move."
"Everything works. But you'd better stay at home."
