On the night of February 22, explosions erupted in Kiev: the Russians launched ballistic missiles and hypersonic Zirkon missiles at the Ukrainian capital.

Before that, the Air Force and monitoring channels warned about the threat of the enemy using ballistic missiles from Bryansk. "Focus" has collected everything that is known about the attack on the capital.

At around 04:00 hours, the monitoring channel reported about the possible exit of ballistic missiles from the territory of the Russian Federation in the direction of Ukraine. The air force specified that the high-speed targets took a course towards Kiev.

Total, according to preliminary data from monitoring channels, the Russians launched four ballistic missiles at once at the capital. Moments later, explosions erupted in Kiev amid the attack.

Minutes later, the military announced additional danger due to the threat of ballistic missile launches from occupied Crimea. Monitoring channels reported that enemy targets were recorded: tentatively, the Russians launched Zirkon-type missiles that were moving towards the Kiev region.

The air force specified that the missiles were moving towards Kiev. A few minutes later, the network again reported explosions in the capital and repeated Zircon outbursts from the southern direction in the direction of the Kiev region.

According to monitoring channels, explosions amid the Zircon attack were heard within the Kiev region. Several missiles were used.

Around 04:30 hours, monitoring channels warned of repeated ballistic missile launches from Bryansk in the direction of Kiev. Powerful explosions were heard in the capital again.

The head of the Kiev city military administration Timur Tkachenko said the enemy was attacking the capital with ballistic missiles and urged residents to stay in shelters.

The enemy was simultaneously attacking Kiev with Shahed-type attack UAVs, monitoring channels wrote.
