The threat of drone attacks after midnight was reported by local blogs, the information in his Telegram was confirmed by the governor of the Saratov region Roman Busargin - he reported a threat to the entire region.

Shots of drone attacks and their consequences soon began to appear in telegram channels. Eyewitnesses commenting on what was happening drew attention to two pockets of fire.

It is noteworthy that in parallel with the drone threat alert, monitors reported the alleged takeoff of a Tu-160 bomber.

Attack on Saratov

It also became known about the drone attack in Saratov - footage appeared with columns of smoke allegedly over the refinery.

"Explosions over the city began around 02:00 at night and continue until now. In total, about 8-10 loud sounds were heard in the southern part, which set off car alarms," one of the publicks wrote.

Locals reported seeing two flashes over the Volga River.

"According to eyewitnesses, several enemy drones have already been shot down. There is no official information about casualties and destruction at the moment. An air danger siren is howling over the cities," one of the Telegram channels added.

It is also known that Saratov airport has imposed temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft due to the attack.
