General Reveals What Flamingo Strike Means For Iskader Production In Russian Federation

Ukraine is heading in the right direction.

Ukrainian strikes by Flamingo missiles on the Votkinsk plant indicate that Ukraine is scaling up production of these means.

This opinion was voiced by retired Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko on Radio NV.

"Despite the fact that the Russians are trying to use all their intelligence capabilities to identify where our enterprises are. And, at a minimum, to slow down production or stop these processes. However, the enterprises of the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex manage to solve these problems, and we see their application," the expert said.

He added that Ukraine will continue to improve the Flamingo. In particular - to improve the radar visibility and guidance systems of this missile.

"One should constantly work on improving its weapons, which we see in the example of "Flamingo". And here the progress will continue. Votkinsk means intercontinental ballistic missiles, submarine-launched ballistic missiles, operational-tactical missile systems that make up the Iskander missiles. Given that the Flamingo warhead is more than a ton, the consequences are corresponding. The question is accuracy. They hit the assembly shops, the principle shops, and that is why the consequences are such," Romanenko added.
