The journalist told new details about the likely perpetrator of the terrorist attack in Lviv.

The woman who may be the perpetrator of the terrorist attack in the center of Lviv on the night of February 22 made the explosives herself under the guidance of online curators from the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the aggressor country Russia.

This reported by journalist Vitaliy Glagola citing sources.

According to him, the suspect was detained in the town of Sambor when she was trying to leave Lviv region.

"This is a Ukrainian citizen who came from another region. The explosives, tentatively, she made by herself according to clear online instructions of the FSB handlers who recruited her," Glagola said in a publication posted on his Telegram channel.

He added that in parallel, investigative actions are continuing in another region.

On the night of February 22, explosions occurred in Lviv. The city's mayor Andriy Sadovy reported a terrorist attack that killed a policewoman.

The National Police of Ukraine later reported that the number of injured in the terrorist attack in Lviv had risen to 24.

They said that at about 00:30, the special line 102 received a report of a break-in at a store on Danilishina Street.

"When a patrol police crew arrived on the scene, there was an explosion. Subsequently, when the second crew arrived, another one was heard," the police said in a statement.

It was preliminarily established that improvised explosive devices detonated.

The terrorist attack killed police officer Viktoria Shpilka. She was 23 years old.

The number of people wounded in the terrorist attack totals 25, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said. There are now 11 people in medical facilities. Six law enforcers are in serious condition, Interior Minister Igor Klymenko added later.

He also said that police together with the SBU detained a likely female bomber of Lviv law enforcers.

Criminal proceedings have been launched under part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act causing grave consequences).
