The Terrorist Attack In Lviv: How The Likely Bomber Was Found

Ukraine's interior minister revealed the details.
The terrorist attack in Lviv on the night of February 22 was most likely ordered by Russia. The probable bomber was quickly tracked down thanks to surveillance video.
The Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klymenko told RBC-Ukraine.
"A terrorist attack occurred in Lviv tonight. I immediately arrived at the scene. There is every reason to believe that the crime was ordered by Russia. The enemy is once again using the recruitment of our citizens, creating death traps for Ukrainian law enforcers," Klimenko said.
According to him, in addition to the dead patrol policewoman Victoria Shpilka, 25 people were injured in the terrorist attack. Now 11 people are in medical institutions, six law enforcers - in serious condition.
The Minister said that he visited the wounded in hospital. Doctors are providing all the necessary assistance.
"Thanks to video from surveillance cameras, it was possible to quickly work out the route of the suspect and fix the moment of planting the explosive device. Already in 10 hours after the explosion, the police together with the SBU detained the likely performer," - added Klimenko.
Further operational activities and investigative actions continue. Law enforcers establish other persons involved in the organization of this crime.
The attack in Lviv
We recall that on the night of February 22 in Lviv there were explosions. According to preliminary data, a 23-year-old policewoman was killed, there are also victims.
A criminal proceeding under part 2 of article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - a terrorist act that caused serious consequences.
According to the investigation, at 00:30 on the line "102" received a message about breaking into the store on Danilishina Street. Upon arrival of the first patrol police crew there was an explosion, and upon arrival of the second - another one was heard.
The explosions damaged a service car of the patrol police and a civilian vehicle.
As of the morning it was known that as a result of the explosions law enforcement officers were injured and at least one policewoman was killed.
Already in the afternoon, law enforcers detained a woman who may be involved in the explosions in Lviv.
According to the main version, the customer of the terrorist attack is Russia.
The head of the Interior Ministry Igor Klimenko specified that now continues to identify other persons involved in the explosions in Lviv. It is already known that 25 people are injured. At the moment, 11 people are in medical centers. Six law enforcers are in a serious condition.
