The artist was threatened with jail.

Russian singer and TV host Sergei Lazarev has become the object of harassment by war correspondents and z-bloggers. On the air of one of the country's top-rated shows "Well, all together!" on Russia 1, Lazarev criticized a folk song ensemble. One of the country's most popular performers was massively attacked by "patriots" and their resources. RT columnist Igor Maltsev hinted at the artist's "extremist" orientation, writes Telegram channel "We can explain".

A folk song ensemble "Toloka" received the lowest score on the song show "Well, all together!". The main jury member Sergey Lazarev did not hide his attitude to the group during the performance and directly into the microphone said "I feel like I'm at some drunken party" and "fuh, I'm tired". The situation was aggravated by the fact that "Toloka" chose for the contest an original folk song from the frontline Belgorod region.

The artist was attacked by the channels Swiss Vatnik, Radio Lekuh, MoskalkoV. The channel "Russian Sych" went the furthest and hinted Lazarev to prison: "Here you, Sergey Lazarev, are not a resort at all. And if you still wrinkle your nose at a Russian song, you'll be sentenced to labor for correction. There will be a reason for it. There will be something for sure. RT columnist Igor Maltsev turns the topic to the artist's sexual orientation and writes: "What does he allow himself?"

At the beginning of the war, Sergey Lazarev was the artist who loudest condemned the "SWO". Now all posts and stories in his Instagram dedicated to the invasion of Ukraine have been deleted, but screenshots of the black square have been preserved. As sources told "MO" in the artist's entourage, in the spring of 2022 he tried to leave. But in fact Lazarev was taken hostage, blackmailing children: "He received a call from the Kremlin and said - you have two surrogate children. You live with a man. Do you want all this to become public information, and Anya and Nikita were brought up in an orphanage?". As a result, the artist cleaned his social networks, and already in June 2022 he performed at a concert for refugees from Donbass, where he said: "I am a Russian! And I have never been ashamed of it! I sincerely love Russia!"
