EU Leaders To Come To Kyiv

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa will come to Kiev on February 24 to mark the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This was reported by "Ukrinform" with reference to the press service of the EC.

Läyen and Costa will take part in an official mourning ceremony dedicated to the beginning of the full-scale war. They will also visit an energy infrastructure facility damaged by Russian missile strikes and meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

The two politicians will join a meeting of a "coalition of the willing" to be held in Kiev tomorrow, the report said.

"The meeting reaffirms the commitment of the 35 member states to support Ukraine in achieving a lasting and sustainable peace, ensuring the security of both Ukraine and Europe," the European Commission said.
