Ukraine will stand and win.
Today is the fourth anniversary of the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Charter97.org editor-in-chief Natallia Radzina in Facebook shared her memories related to this date and expressed confidence that Ukraine will defend its independence and win:
- Today, like many, I woke up at dawn. Anniversary. These 4 years of full-scale war seem infinitely long - so stretched out the time by Russia's heinous crimes against Ukraine. So much blood and death, so much suffering, broken destinies and destruction...
When I came from Ukraine to Poland, I usually could not hold back my tears for several days, telling about what I saw and heard there. And I couldn't understand why even here, so close to the war, people often don't understand (or don't want to understand) how difficult and terrible it is for their neighbors to live.
Obviously, this is a protective reaction of the psyche, but I am convinced that we have no right to get "tired" of this war or to ignore it.
This war must change us all. Illusions must go away. It should become clear that imperial Russia is an enemy, and what to do if we want to preserve our country and simply survive as a nation.
The courage and steadfastness of Ukrainians have become a standard to which we, Belarusians, and the whole world should look up.
Glory to Ukraine! It will stand and win, I am sure.
