The Business Valuation Market In Belarus Fell To Its Lowest Level In Five Years

In Belarus, the number of transactions on independent business valuation has significantly decreased in recent years. In 2025, this market has fallen by almost a quarter, BelTA informs with reference to the data of the State Property Committee.

So, 112 conclusions on independent evaluation were registered in the country last year. Of them 68 concerned shares in authorized funds, 37 - blocks of shares and 7 - enterprises as property complexes.

The specialists explain the decrease of activity in the market of business valuation by the reduction of the number of transactions with assets from unfriendly countries, which fell under the restrictions imposed by the decree № 93 "On additional measures to ensure the stable functioning of the economy".

The Institute of Real Estate and Appraisal RUE also says that large companies mostly conducted appraisals in 2024.

The number of appraisals of assets not covered by Decree No. 93 also decreased: in 2025 there were 73 of them, which was the minimum for 2020-2025. By comparison, there were 86 such transactions in 2024.
