The rocket traveled about 1,650 kilometers to the target.
A video of a Ukrainian munition hitting a Russian factory has been published online. Social networks note that this is about the attack of a Ukrainian FP-5 "Flamingo" missile on the Votkinsk plant, which produces missile systems for the Russian army.
Ukrainian military-industrial complex has demonstrated capabilities that change the strategic balance of power deep behind enemy lines. According to "Censor.NET", on the night of February 21, 2026 (the attack began on the evening of the 20th), Ukraine's newest FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile struck a strategic enterprise, the Votkinsk plant, where Iskander-M, Topol-M and the newest Oreshnik missiles are produced.
This strike was not only a military success, but also a likely world record for the combat range of a cruise missile of this class, covering a distance of about 1,650 kilometers.
The General Staff of the AFU officially confirmed the use of exactly the Flamingo missiles for this strike. The owner of the manufacturing company Denis Shtilerman the day before published a video of the missiles' launch with a laconic caption: "No context. Context - later."
