Guerrillas Turned Enemy REB Antennas In Crimea Into Useless Scrap Metal

Ukrainian drones can fly freely.

ATESH guerrillas carried out a successful sabotage near Sevatsopol, dedicated to the "Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea". The agents managed to disable communication facilities, including those interfering with the work of Ukrainian drones.

The guerrilla movement "ATESH" reports this in Telegram.

The matter concerns electronic warfare complexes - REB antennas. The equipment was located on a tower near the village of Goncharne.

"This tower was equipped with REB antennas that interfered with our drones in the sector. The ATESH agents set fire to the relay cabinets at the base of the tower - these are where the power electronics and high-frequency cables are located. If they are damaged, the antennas at the top turn into useless scrap metal: the signal simply does not reach them," the guerrilla movement wrote.

It is also reported that it is extremely difficult, expensive and time-consuming to restore such equipment.

As a result of the successful sabotage, the work of the enemy's REB in the area has been completely stopped.

"This opened an air corridor for the effective use of drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Nearby military facilities are located, which have now become an easy target for JMA," ATESH added.

And these are the following facilities:

- 58th CMTO - warehouses of inviolable reserve of communication equipment of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation;

- Reserve command post of the Black Sea Fleet "Alsu-2";

- 15th separate coastal missile-artillery brigade.

"We continue to methodically turn off the switch to the occupants, clearing the sky for the Ukrainian Defense Forces," the guerrillas concluded.
