It deals with artificial intelligence.
Pope Leo XIV has demanded that priests not use artificial intelligence when preparing texts for sermons for the faithful.
This is reported by Vatican News.
In particular, the Pope made a demand for priests to "enter real life" and "refrain from the temptation to prepare sermons with artificial intelligence," as AI and the Internet need to be used carefully.
"Like all muscles in the body, if we don't use them, if we don't move them, they die. The brain needs to be used, so our intelligence also needs to be trained a little bit so that we don't lose that ability," he said.
The Pope reminded that preachers "share their faith" when they give sermons. AI, he argued, cannot "share faith" with people.
"If we can offer a ministry that is enculturated in the place, in the parish where we work, people want to see your faith, your experience of knowing and loving Jesus Christ," he added.
