She's been heavily guarded.

Satellite images have recorded the reinforced deployment of guards near the alleged base of the Oreshnik missile complex near Krichev in Belarus. The positions are equipped with air defense and REB equipment, including Tor-M2, Pantsir and Krasukha.

The Ukrainian service Radio Liberty reported.

"Near the former military airfield near Krichev, where Russia may deploy the Oreshnik missile system, at least six equipped positions with air defense and electronic warfare equipment have been recorded," according to satellite images for February 17, 2026, analyzed by journalists of the Belarusian service of Radio Liberty together with a military expert.

The configuration of the equipment resembles Tor-M2, Pantsir, Krasukha or Moskva-1 type REB systems, and presumably S-300, but it is impossible to identify it precisely from the images. The positions are located within a radius of about five kilometers from the airfield, some of them have trenches and earthen ramparts.

In the central part of the military town, six large vehicles can be seen, which, according to experts, may belong to the "Oreshnik" complex. Their size corresponds to the equipment, which at the end of December 2025 the Defense Ministries of Russia and Belarus showed as being on combat duty. A hangar is being erected around the equipment.

Ukrainian aviation expert Anatoliy Khrapchinskiy believes that an echeloned air defense system is being formed near the facility to cover the strategic base.

He says the scale and nature of the defense indicate the high importance of this facility for Russia and Belarus.
