The military responded.
A Russian drone approached the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle in the port of the Swedish city of Malmö, where the flagship arrived for exercises. The Swedish military responded to the incident.
The SVT Nyheter reports.
It is known that the Russian drone was launched from a neighboring ship - it approached the French Navy aircraft carrier, and then the Swedish military used REB to deactivate it.
The drone disappeared from the scene. It is still unclear whether it returned to the Russian ship it came from or fell into the sea.
The Charles de Gaulle is the world's largest non-US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier at more than 260 meters long. It is capable of carrying thousands of military personnel and up to 30 fighter jets.
The ship is currently in the port of Malmö, where it is moored for, among other things, strategic exercises.
