This incident set off a chain of events.

American billionaire, SpaceX founder Ilon Musk has disabled the Starlink satellite connection to the Russians, which they used on the frontline, after a Russian drone penetrated the center of Kiev. This was reported on February 27 by The Atlantic.

The publication reported that in late January, a Russian attack drone slipped through Ukrainian air defenses and flew into the government quarter in Kiev in a planned manner, heading toward the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Witnesses said the UAV flew very low. People inside the Cabinet building said it was flying below the level of the seventh floor. "A lot of people saw it and started running around shouting, 'What the hell was that?"' - one official recalled.

The drone ended up crashing into a neighboring building, causing minor damage. No one was injured. The drone was identified as a BM-35 (the Ukrainian Defense Ministry had earlier said the occupiers were equipping it with Starlink).

The Atlantic noted that it was this incident that set off the chain of events that led to Starlink being blocked to the Russian occupiers and allowed Ukraine to seize the initiative on the frontline.
