Frightened And Unhappy Lukashenko Embarrassed Himself On The Ice Again

The decrepit dictator is increasingly reminiscent of anecdotes about Brezhnev.
Each new appearance of the elderly ruler on the ice turns more and more into a political circus. Tribuna.com describes his recent appearance at the game against Vitebsk: "Olympic hockey teams should learn to play defense from the team of Vitebsk region. Look how selflessly it resists Lukashenko. However, he is in great shape himself. He has such fantastic speed on the ice. The stands are delighted."
This, to put it mildly, ironic description of a situation where both teams have to actually stop the game and freeze in place for Lukashenko's personal puck is reminiscent of anecdotes about Brezhnev.
Remember the one where, in a race against the president of the United States according to the Soviet press, Leonid Ilyich came in second and Reagan came in second to last? That's exactly what Lukashenko's propaganda attempts to return the image of an unfading macho to the ruler, who has passed his eighth decade.
The decrepit Brezhnev is said to have understood perfectly well what was happening to him. He knew about the anecdotes going from smoking room to smoking room. And asked his comrades-in-arms to let him retire. But they were adamant.
According to the photos of Lukashenko's press service, in which nine times out of ten he looks frightened and unhappy, the elderly ruler himself is not happy about the need to test the strength of his sick legs.
And so he has good reasons to step over himself, demonstrating his (so far) irreplaceability, his ability to stand firmly on his feet. And he has someone to show it to.
For example, to his sworn friends from the Kremlin, who the other day very clearly outlined the narrowness of the corridor for maneuvers and the length of the leash.
or to his own "combat generals". Karpekov, Kubrakov and others fought against their own people in 2020 not for Lukashenko and, moreover, not for Belarus. They understood perfectly well where they would end up if they lost. It's not so hard to guess how they will deal with those who stumbled under the appropriate guarantees of the new master.
