Israel And The U.S. Strike Nuclear Sites In Iran

The city of Isfahan has been attacked.
According to preliminary information, Israel and the U.S. are striking nuclear facilities in Iran. In particular, in addition to Tehran, the city of Isfahan, where one of the nuclear facilities is located, was attacked, OBOZ.UA reported, citing Israeli media.
Experts call Isfahan the "heart" of Iran's nuclear industry. But it is far from the only one. Iran's nuclear program is specifically designed as a decentralized network: if one facility is destroyed, others can continue to operate.
Isfahan is home to the Nuclear Technology Center, which includes several plants and research reactors. A uranium enrichment plant is located there. In February 2026, the IAEA reported that it was in Isfahan's underground storage facilities that Iran had hidden stockpiles of highly enriched uranium (up to 60%) to save them from strikes. Satellite images recorded how the Iranians hastily covered the damaged workshops with new roofs and reinforced tunnel entrances.
So in February 2026, Iran used "dispersal" tactics. The most valuable materials - enriched uranium and the latest generation of centrifuges - were moved from Isfahan's above-ground laboratories to deep tunnels beneath the mountains near Natanz and Fordow.
