Iran has carried out strikes on Arab countries in the Persian Gulf. The target could be US military facilities located in these countries.

"Multiple explosions have been reported in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Qatar, where U.S. bases are located. Bahrain's Interior Ministry has urged citizens to move immediately to the nearest safe place," the publication said.

According to Bahrain's BNA news agency, the U.S. Fifth Fleet Service Center came under missile attack. The attack "directly hit U.S. naval infrastructure in the region."

Also, according to Reuters, explosions occurred in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

And Qatar said it had intercepted two Iranian missiles in its airspace.
