Israel Names Key Targets Of Operation Lion's Roar In Iran

The military is setting the stage for the overthrow of the Iranian regime.

A source in Israeli political circles commented on Operation Lion's Roar, which is being carried out by the IDF Air Force in Iran.

It was reported by Axios.

"The goal is to create all conditions for the overthrow of the Iranian regime. We are targeting the entire Iranian leadership - political and military, past, present and future. The development of events will also depend on how actively the Iranian people will come forward," the statement said.

The official added that Israel has tried to eliminate Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian in Iran. Khamenei's residence in Tehran has now been completely destroyed.

As previously reported, two senior Israeli security sources said the operation against Iran would last several days. Preparations for it have been carried out under the strictest secrecy. Over the past month, the IDF chief, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, and the commander of the Israeli Air Force, Gen. Tomer Bar, have been holding private meetings and briefings with those involved in the operation. To conceal the real action, the commander-in-chief even took part in a routine dinner the night before.
