UAE Has Intercepted Iran's Missiles And Is Preparing A Strong Response

The defense establishment called Tehran's actions an "audacious attack."

The UAE has successfully intercepted Iranian ballistic missiles that attacked the country's territory. One person was killed and several other objects were damaged as the debris fell in a residential area of Abu Dhabi.

The UAE's defense ministry called Iran's actions a "daring attack." According to the ministry, air defenses worked with high efficiency, intercepting several targets.

The debris from one of the missiles, however, fell on a residential sector in Abu Dhabi. Local authorities confirmed that this resulted in property damage and the death of a foreign national (of Asian origin).

UArab Emirates' response and security measures

The Ministry of Defense stressed that the firing was a grave violation of national sovereignty and international law. The Emirates reserves the full right to respond.

"We are prepared to deal decisively with any threats intended to undermine the security and stability of the nation. The safety of citizens, residents and visitors is our top priority," the authority said.

The authority also urged the public to get information only from official sources and avoid spreading rumors.
