After Overnight Russian Federation Strike, US Senator Urges Trump To Hand Over Tomahawk To Ukraine

Providing Kiev with long-range missiles would make a difference on the battlefield.

U.S. pressure Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to sit down at the negotiating table and stop massive attacks against Ukraine is not working. This opinion was expressed on February 3 in X by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who is close to US President Donald Trump.

He reposted a media report about a massive Russian attack on Ukraine on the night of February 3.

The politician said Trump's idea of going after Putin's oil buyers who support his war machine should be implemented by the US and Europe.

"President Trump has undermined Putin's economy by going after oil companies and refineries. The customs duties on India are a good example of how things can change. India is now buying significantly less Russian oil, and if other major buyers follow suit, it will help end this carnage," Graham wrote.

After Russia's massive overnight attack, the senator urged Trump to begin the process of providing Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles, which would make a difference on the battlefield.

"In the coming days and weeks, we must increase pressure on Putin. Any negotiations that are perceived as overrewarding aggression will spell disaster around the world," Graham emphasized. - If negotiations lead to a free, strong and independent Ukraine - albeit one forced to make concessions - the world will be a much more stable place."

The US senator pointed out that "time is critical."
