Famous Airline Urged Not To Wear Jeans On Airplane

Why?
Popular airline Ryanair in its TikTok suggested its passengers to give up jeans on the plane, writes Daily Mail.
"It's 2026, let's stop traveling in jeans," the company said in its video.
People in the comments reacted habitually negatively. Habitually, because the carrier's videos often elicit strong reactions from viewers.
"Are you going to charge for wearing jeans now?" - another asked Ryanair.
Despite the bizarre message of the video, it has real medical reasons. And wearing jeans during a flight has often been criticized by experts.
Dr. Hugh Pabarue, a physician at Metro Vein Centres Clinic, has repeatedly argued that the clothing a passenger wears during a flight can significantly affect blood circulation.
"Wearing leggings and other tight clothing, such as skinny jeans that are too tight, reduces the ability of blood to flow to the legs," the doctor notes.
Because the flight is long, blood can pool in the legs, and this increases the risk of deep vein thrombosis. A person may feel numbness, tingling or severe pain in the legs.
