Polish Railroad Denies Rumors About Resumption Of Communication With Belarus

There have been no passenger trains between the two countries since 2020.
Polish Railways has no plans to resume passenger traffic with Belarus from April 1. This is stated in the official response from the press service of the Polish Railroad PKP, which was received by "Euroradio".
"No applications or requests from carriers have been submitted to the Polish railway lines. From April 1, the railway connection with Belarus is not planned," reads the response of Anna Znajewska-Pawliuk.
Earlier in the media there was unconfirmed information, as if the passenger service between Poland and Belarus will be resumed from April 1, 2026. Passenger trains between the two countries have not been running since 2020. First, it was affected by the pandemic of covida, and then by sanctions against Lukashenka's regime and the migrant crisis on the border.
