A massive fire broke out.
On the night of February 7, drones attacked Russia's Tver region, where a large-scale fire at a local chemical plant went up after a series of explosions, writes "Focus".
The attack took place at a chemical plant in the village of Redkino in the Tver region. This was reported by monitoring channels.
According to Russian Telegram channels, explosions were heard in the Konanovsky district of the region. In total, eyewitnesses counted more than 10 explosions. Before that, they heard engines rumbling in the sky and saw bright flashes.
Afterward, a large number of fire trucks left in the direction of the settlement where the chemical plant is located, the Russians noted.
Local authorities confirmed the attack on the region. Governor of the Tver region Vitaly Korolev said that the drone shoot-down caused a fire at the plant, no information on casualties or other consequences was received.
As OSINT analysts tell OSINT analysts, the Redkinskiy Experimental Chemical Plant is a large enterprise of the Russian chemical industry. The plant produces special chemical components, particularly for the aviation and defense industries (fuel additives, technical chemicals, special reagents, etc.). These products were used by the Russians in particular for military purposes.
The plant is under sanctions by the UK, the US and other countries. Previously, the plant has already been under drone attacks.
