The word appeared on the couple's phone as their son jokingly changed the name of the network on their device.

Israel has put fighter jets in the air after a passenger on a Wizz Air flight reported that the word "terrorist" appeared on his phone in Arabic. This was reported by Ynet.

The flight in question was W95310 London to Tel Aviv of Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air. Before landing at Ben-Gurion Airport, two passengers reported that the word "terrorist" in Arabic appeared on one of their phones. Fearing that this might be a security breach, the crew reported the incident. As a result, fighter jets were flown into the air.

It was later discovered that the word appeared on the couple's phone because their son had jokingly changed the name of the network on their device. Suspicions of a security breach were dropped, and the plane landed safely at Ben-Gurion Airport. Police were waiting for the passengers on the ground, and the couple went through a security check.

"The incident is over. The plane landed and it was determined that there was no real incident," the airport authority explained to the publication. There, they emphasized that the fighter jets took to the air due to the procedures adopted in such cases.
