Pashinyan And Vance Sign Nuclear Cooperation Agreement

Armenia distances itself from the Russian Federation.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance signed an agreement on cooperation between the two countries in the peaceful use of nuclear energy. This was reported by "Armenpress".
"This agreement will open a new page in deepening the energy partnership between Armenia and the United States and will contribute to the diversification of Armenia's energy resources through the introduction of safe and innovative technologies," Pashinyan said.
He also expressed gratitude to the United States for its longstanding support to Armenia in the field of nuclear safety. Pashinyan stressed readiness for further cooperation in the priority spheres for the countries.
The US Vice President arrived in Armenia on an official visit on February 9. In Yerevan, Vance held a personal meeting with Pashinyan.
