The ship is sinking in the Gulf of Oman.

The US Army has struck an Iranian Jamaran-class corvette (a series of modern Iranian light frigates and corvettes). This was announced by the U.S. military's Central Command.

"An Iranian Jamaran-class corvette was attacked by U.S. forces at the start of Operation Epic Fury. The ship is currently sinking in the Gulf of Oman off the pier at Chah Bahar," the report said.

American forces urged Iranian troops to abandon the ship.
