United States President Donald Trump announced the destruction of Iranian naval ships. He wrote this on Truth Social.

"I have just been informed that we have destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian naval ships, some of them relatively large and important. We are going after the rest - they too will soon be at the bottom of the sea!" - Trump stated.

He added that in another attack, the US "largely destroyed" Iran's naval headquarters.

"Otherwise, their navy is doing very well!" - he added.
