Hundreds of missiles and drones have been fired at the UAE.

In the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, a high-rise apartment complex where the Estonian embassy is located was damaged. This was reported by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna on Sunday, March 1.

"We have also received information that a high-rise apartment complex in Abu Dhabi, where the Estonian embassy is located, was hit. Fortunately, the embassy staff is okay," Tsahkna wrote on Facebook.

He noted that there is still a great threat of a missile strike throughout the Middle East region. Iran continues large-scale attacks on some Gulf countries.

The Estonian foreign minister urged his country's citizens to remain calm and emphasized that the agency is working around the clock to provide assistance.

"I ask Estonian citizens to remain calm and stay in safe places. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working around the clock to help our citizens, and we are doing everything possible so that Estonians who are traveling can return home at the earliest opportunity. We are also in constant contact with other countries to organize evacuation flights if necessary," Tsahkna said.

The United Arab Emirates was hit by 165 ballistic missiles, of which 152 were destroyed and 13 fell into sea waters. Two cruise missiles were also destroyed.

In addition, 541 drones were launched at the UAE, 506 of which were intercepted and destroyed by the country's Air Force, while 35 fell into the country's territory, causing material damage.

The defense ministry said three people - citizens of Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh - were killed in the attacks. Also 58 people were lightly injured.

The BBC also wrote that on March 1, Iran struck the airports of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, killing one person and injuring 11 others.
