Russian Resort Cities Come Under Heavy Drone Attack

Airports are closed, explosions are going off.

Late on the evening of March 10 and after midnight, sirens and explosions rang out amid a drone attack in Russia's Krasnodar region. Russians complained about unknown drones in Anapa and Sochi, writes "Focus".

The drone attack paralyzed the work of airports in Krasnodar and Sochi, where the "Cover" plan was introduced amid the threat. This is reported by Russian Telegram channels.

Sirens and explosions in Anapa began to sound around 22:00 hours. Eyewitnesses told media that a series of explosions were heard in the resort town from the Black Sea, which set off sirens in cars.

In total, Anapa residents counted at least 5 loud explosions that were heard in different parts of the city. Eyewitnesses also reported active work of air defense forces.

Russian monitoring channels write that the siren in Anapa sounded for the third time during the day on March 10. Officially, local authorities did not comment on the attack on the city and did not disclose the consequences.

The resort city of Sochi also came under drone attack

After a while, Russian Telegram channels reported sounds of explosions in another Russian resort city, Sochi, as well as in the urban-type settlement of Sirius. Sochi residents also claimed that the city was under drone attack.

In total, locals counted at least 5 loud explosions heard in the Adler and Central districts of Sochi. Danger sirens were heard throughout the city. Eyewitnesses saw bright flashes in the sky above the Black Sea.

Local authorities did not disclose information about the aftermath of the attack on Sochi. Residents are urged to be in shelters amid the threat.

The network also reported the sounds of explosions in occupied Crimea. Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" wrote about the work of air defense in Feodosia and in the Kerch Strait area.
