The Forbes magazine has published its 40th annual global ranking of dollar billionaires. The first place in the list of the richest people in the world was once again taken by Ilon Musk. The second and third positions were occupied by the founders of Google - Larry Page and Sergei Brin. The fourth was the founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos, who a year earlier was in third place.

The co-owner of the Russian-Belarusian group of companies "Sodruzhestvo" Alexander Lutsenko also appeared in the rating. Forbes listed him as one of 155 Russian billionaires who made the ranking this year. Lutsenko ranked 2712th with a fortune of about $1.4 billion. The businessman has a Belarusian passport and started business in Belarus in the 1990s. In the country he has, among other things, a fodder plant, warehouses, railcars and an office in Minsk on Pobediteley Avenue.

The billionaires of Belarusian origin include Russian businessmen Andrey Melnichenko, Dmitry Mazepin, Alexander Evnevich and Vladimir Melnikov, as well as American investor Igor Tulchinsky.
