Trump On The Nobel Prize: I'm Not Interested In It

The U.S. president said he did not want to discuss the topic any further.

In an interview with a reporter from the Washington Examiner, U.S. President Donald Trump was asked whether a war with Iran could increase his chances of winning the prestigious award.

"I don't know. I'm not interested in that," the American president replied.

Trump also noted that he did not discuss the Nobel Prize during conversations with foreign leaders after the start of a new conflict in the Middle East.

"No, I'm not talking about the Nobel Prize," he said.

Remember, in 2025, Trump actively lobbied his candidacy for the Nobel Peace Prize. However, the award then went to the leader of the Venezuelan opposition Maria Corina Machado.
