Ukraine's president has talked about leaving.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said he hopes that when he leaves office Ukrainians will remember him in a positive way. The head of state would also like his children and grandchildren not to be ashamed of him.

The French publication Radiofrance reports that.

What Zelensky expects after leaving the presidency

The Ukrainian head of state said that he hopes after the presidency that his children and grandchildren, if the latter ever appear, will be able to live in Ukraine and "will not be ashamed" of him. He also spoke about his expectations from the Ukrainian people after he leaves.

"I would like to be remembered, for the Ukrainian people to remember me in a positive way," Zelensky said.

Zelensky on the war and hopes for victory

Four years after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky admitted that he "changed a lot because of the war." He also expects Ukraine not to lose.

"I'm doing everything so that we don't lose the war. I would like us to win. I consider the defense of our independence a victory for our state," the Ukrainian president added.

How Zelensky comments on corruption in the Cabinet

Zelensky said that democracy is alive in Ukraine. Commenting on the relatively recent corruption scandal in the energy sector and the resignation of the head of his office Andriy Yermak, the president said that criticism still exists.

"Criticism exists, and the fact that you know about it shows that democracy is alive in Ukraine," the president said.

Continuing the interview, the head of Ukraine said that if we compare Russia with Ukraine in this respect, the aggressor country has no criticism.

"In Russia, one person decides everything, and everyone suffers," he emphasized.
